♦ Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some parts of south Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maldive & Comorin areas and southwest Bay of Bengal. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat 7.0° N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat 7.0° N/ Long. 70.0° E, Lat 7.0° N/ Long. 76.0° E, Lat 8.0° N/ Long. 80.0° E, Puttalam(Sri Lanka), Lat 10.0° N/ Long. 86.0° E, Lat 14.0° N/ Long. 91.0° E and Lat 16.0° N/Long. 96.0° E.
♦ Conditions are favourable for the onset of the southwest monsoon over Kerala during next 48 hours.
